If someone is bitten by a snake
- Keep calm and keep the person still.
- Remove rings, watches and tight clothing near the bite.
- Do not cut, suck or tie off the bite.
- Call an ambulance or go straight to the Mediclinic Paarl Emergency Centre.
- Take a photo of the snake only if it is safe to do so.
